Eva is originally from Spain, she holds a BA in Fine Arts
from the University of La Laguna and a PGCE in Secondary School from The
Complutense Madrid University, as well as Studies in “Art mediation for social Integration”
from the Granada University. She has experience working in Social Development
programs, specially working with 
children and teenagers.  She is
bee working in the Health an Social Care industry since she moves to Bristol
with her daughter 8 years ago . She  has
studied Practical Self Sustainability and obtain the PDC (Permaculture design
certificate) with Shift Bristol.

Eva has Studied Biodanza Teaching Training at the Bristol
School, as well as the special training to work with Children and Teenagers and
the Training of “ Biodanza for Social Action”. She is in the process of
elaborating  her Monography as a  Biodanza Facilitator  , she has Facilitated several Biodanza
classes mainly workshops for children and 
for Families, as well as special events for adults..

Eva feels passionate about bringing Biodanza to everyone,
but Children and Teenagers are her focus, they are the future adults and they
are going through many changes and challenges on this schools years, Biodanza
is a system that  offer support on the
Social, Emotional and Mental Health , were the participants get to know
themselves and the goup better, learn to relate in feedback , express their
uniqueness, and integrate all their parts.

It develops various levels of connection and&#xA;bonding with oneself, with one another, and with the universe. And it opens the&#xA;individual to owning and joyfully expressing ones true identity.

##### From a physiological&#xA;point of view:

##### Biodanza works as an anti-stress&#xA;therapy, helping to regulate sleep and blood pressure.  It gives&#xA;participants a feeling of expanded vital life force energy, and helps&#xA;develop the ability to self-regulate, balancing action and rest, and&#xA;strengthening the individual's immune system.

##### From a psychological&#xA;point of view:

##### Biodanza works as an&#xA;antidepressant.  The stimulation from the music, movement and&#xA;relationship with the group provoke a positive reaction, that is&#xA;reinforced by the physiological effect of the class; during the first part of&#xA;class, rhythm and joy,  stimulate adrenaline and&#xA;noradrenaline and, in the second part of class as we let go and return to&#xA;our divine essence, dopamine, serotonin and oxytocin are stimulated&#xA;regulating mood and generating well-being.

What happens in a Biodanza class?

Comfortable, loose fitting clothes. Some water to stay hydrated. Biodanza is normally danced barefoot, so no footwear is necessary. However, soft dance shoes can be worn if there is a need to wear shoes.

The creator of the  Biodanza 
was Rolando Toro Araneda , during his work on a mental institution he
realized  how music and movement could induce
many emotional and physical states, enabling integration and balance or the
opposite. Because Rolando followed many careers, including school teacher,
psychologist, honorary medical doctor, medical researcher, poet, artist,
African art collector and anthropologist – all of them contributed to the
development of Biodanza System, been this the work of his life .
